Privacy Policy

This page explains what w2file ("we", "the service") collects when you use it to convert a web page into a PNG, JPG or PDF file. We keep things to a minimum.

1. What we process

• The URL you submit. We send our own headless browser to that address, render the page and produce the file you asked for.
• The generated file. It is stored temporarily on our server so you can download it.
• Your IP address. Stored together with each capture only to prevent abuse and enforce usage limits.
• Basic server logs. Standard web-server logs (date, request, status) that the hosting platform keeps for security and troubleshooting.

2. Automatic deletion (24 hours)

Every generated file and its database record are automatically deleted within 24 hours. We do not keep an archive of the pages you capture.

3. No accounts, no selling of data

We do not require registration and we do not sell, rent or trade your data. We do not use the content of captured pages for any purpose other than producing your file.

4. Advertising & cookies

This site may display a small number of ads. Advertising partners (for example Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Their use of cookies is governed by their own privacy policies. The core conversion feature itself does not set tracking cookies.

5. Third parties

When you submit a URL, our server contacts that third-party website to render it. That website may log the visit from our server. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of pages you choose to capture.

6. Your rights

Because data is deleted within 24 hours and we hold no account information, there is normally nothing to export or erase after that window. If you have a question about data processed within that window, contact us at the address below.
